Unlocking has the potential to cost them $130 million in revenue from AT&T. Unless of course it can also sign a deal with T-Mobile.

Apple doesn’t want people to unlock their iPhone illegally, but there is countries where iPhone doesn’t selling officially, but people really want to use iPhone. There is kinda black market, you know.
