Correction
Well, I guess the voters in 2000 knew what they were talking about - Bush did lose the popular vote. The 2004 voters are still worthy of scorn.

I agree that the vote was questionable in 2004 from the current evidence, but even in this scenario the voters don’t have 20/20 hindsight. Who is to say that Kerry would have been any better than Bush? It is easy to assume that it would be impossible not to be better, but that assumption is too bold to make.
